1 mango
1/2 liter milk
a pinch of saffron
500 grams hung curd
1 1/2 tsp castor sugar
25 grams pistachios (crushed)
25 grams almonds (crushed)Method to make Mango Shrikhand:
First, put saffron and milk in a pan and bring it to a boil. Now let it cool down and wash the mango and remove the peel. Now blend it in a mixer. Now in a bowl add milk mixed with hung curd, castor sugar and half saffron. Add mango puree to it as well. Mix all these things well. Now add the remaining milk to it and mix well. Now add chopped almonds and pistachios to it. Mix all these things well. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with almonds and pistachios. If you want, you can add jaggery or honey instead of sugar. Apart from this, sugar can also be skipped because mango is sweet, so even without sugar will work. Now keep it in the fridge for 4 to 5 hours. Serve cold.
