How to prepare Makhana Kheer
To make Makhana kheer, heat 2 to 3 spoons of ghee in a pan. Now add 1 cup full makhana and 10 to 12 cashew nuts. Fry the makhana in ghee on low to medium flame till the makhana becomes crunchy. Cashew nuts will also turn golden. Keep stirring all the things while frying them. Then take them out on a plate and keep them aside.

Make like this
Now heat 2 cups of milk in a thick-bottomed pan. Keep the flame medium and keep stirring occasionally so that the milk does not burn from below. Let the milk come to a boil. Then while the milk is heating up, keep the cup of makhana safe and put the remaining roasted makhana in a grinder or blender jar. Keep in mind that do not put the roasted cashews kept in the same plate as the makhana. Then add 4 green cardamom seeds and a pinch of saffron seeds. After the kheer is cooked, cardamom powder can be added to it.
