Necessary ingredients
Makhane - 2 cups
Peanuts - 1/2 cup
Onion finely chopped - 1/2 cup
Carrot finely chopped - 1/2 cup
Beetroot finely chopped - 1/2 cup
Tomatoes finely chopped - 1/2 cup
Green chilli chopped - 2
Coriander leaves chopped - 1/4 cup


Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee - 3-4 tsp
Green chutney - as needed
Tamarind Chutney - as needed
Sev - 1/4 cup
salt - as per taste

Recipe
To make Makhana Bhel, first put a pan on a low flame and keep it heating by adding desi ghee. When the ghee of the pan melts, put peanuts in it and fry them for a few minutes. When the grains are fried well, take them out in a bowl and keep them aside. Now put the nuts in the ghee of the pan and fry them well for 5-6 minutes. Add red chilli powder and salt as per taste and fry while stirring. When the Makhanas are fried well, take them out in a bowl.
Now take a mixing bowl and add roasted peanuts and makhana and mix it well. Before this, finely chop onion, tomato, green chilli, beetroot, and carrot. Put them in a mixing bowl and mix them all well. After this add chaat masala, green spicy chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, and finely chopped coriander and mix it. Now take out the makhana bhel on a plate and serve after adding sev and green coriander leaves on top.
