According to the Indian calendar, this year the festival of Makar Sankranti will be celebrated on 15 January. Makar Sankranti is considered to be the biggest first festival of the year. This festival has great religious significance in the Hindu religion.

If beliefs are to be believed, it is considered auspicious to donate after bathing in a holy river on this day. Kharmas ends on the day of Makar Sankranti and the auspicious works which were banned for a month start again. There is a tradition of eating things made of sesame and jaggery on this day. Due to this, people prepare all kinds of dishes with Gajak.

Although everyone likes to eat Gajak, but today's children do not like it. In such a situation, you can prepare cupcakes for your child with the help of sesame seeds.

Ingredients for making Sesame Ragi Cake
1 cup ragi flour
Half cup barley flour
one and a half teaspoons of baking powder
Half cup olive oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnishing)

To make the cake, first, preheat the microwave to 180 degrees. After this, mix all the dry ingredients properly in a bowl. Now mix olive oil in it and also prepare a batter by mixing 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and buttermilk properly.
When the batter is ready, beat it well, so that there are no lumps in the batter. When the cake mixture is ready, keep it aside for some time. Meanwhile, apply a little oil or butter to the cupcake mold and grease it.
After this pour the batter in the cake mold. To decorate it, you can add sesame seeds to the batter. You have to bake it for 15 minutes. When it is baked, take it out, cool it, and serve it to the children.
