If you want to taste Masoor Dal in Bengali style, then you can easily make it at home. Let's learn its easy method.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lentils,
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric,
  • 1 teaspoon mustard oil,
  • whole red chili, garlic,
  • salt as per taste

Method :

First of all, soak the dal for 5-6 hours.

Now heat the pressure cooker, and add oil to it.

Then apply to the temper of red chili and garlic.

Add soaked masoor dal and turmeric, and fry for a while.

Now add water and salt to it.

Close the lid of the pressure cooker.

Apply 2-3 whistles, Masoor dal is ready.

You can serve this with rice or roti.
