Without eyes, life becomes dark, so whenever you feel that your vision is becoming weak or your vision is becoming blurred, then you are deficient in some nutrients. Remedy it immediately otherwise you may need to wear glasses. Including powerful vitamins, antioxidants and minerals in your daily diet can improve your eye health and vision. Many researches have revealed that nutrients like Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, Lutein and Zeaxanthin can improve eyesight. 1. Lutein & Zeaxanthin

Many studies show that lutein and zeaxanthin reduce the risk of chronic eye diseases. People who got the most lutein and zeaxanthin had the lowest risk of developing new cataracts. For this, apart from dark green leafy vegetables, definitely eat broccoli, corn, peas, and tangerines.

2. Vitamin C
Much scientific evidence suggests that vitamin C reduces the risk of cataracts and, when taken along with other essential nutrients, may help prevent aging eyes and reduce the risk of blurred vision. For this, try to consume oranges, grapes, strawberries, papaya, green chillies, tomatoes and lemon.

3. Vitamin E
Vitamin E protects the cells in the eyes from many molecules and free radicals, which break down healthy cells. Rich sources of vitamin E include vegetable oils (including safflower and corn oils), nuts, wheat germ and sweet potatoes.

4. Essential Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are important for proper visual development and retina function. Studies on pre-term and full-term infants show that getting adequate omega-3 fatty acids in the diet is essential for optimal visual development. For this, increase the intake of salmon, tuna and other cold water fish.

5. Zinc
Zinc plays an important role in transporting vitamin A from our liver to the retina to produce melanin, a protective pigment in the eyes. To avoid blurred vision, night blindness and cataract, do not allow zinc deficiency in your body. For this, apart from nuts and seeds, you can consume red meat.
