In the winter season, water used to freeze between the two islands, due to which an icy bridge was formed. Due to this bridge, people travel from one island to another.

Every week mail delivery is done by helicopter or with the help of a water ship. Goods are given to people at this place. You will be surprised to know that laundry detergent is available at this place for three or four thousand rupees. There is only one WiFi network providing system which is installed in the school only for the children.
