Kale is a wonderful green leafy vegetable that is often referred to as a 'superfood'. In recent years, the trend of eating it has increased significantly. People like to consume it as a salad. 1. Rich in nutrients
Kale is considered rich in nutrients as it contains vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Kale is included in a healthy diet because it has very less calories and carbohydrates, which maintains good health.
2. Good for heart health
A lot of fiber is found in kale, which prevents cholesterol and blood pressure from increasing, thereby reducing the risk of dangerous diseases like heart attack to a great extent. Both soluble and insoluble fibers are found in kale.
3. Rich in antioxidants
Kale is considered a rich source of antioxidants, which include quercetin and kaempferol, which help in dealing with oxidative stress and inflammation in the body. These compounds can reduce chronic diseases.
4. Bones will become stronger
Cal is a great source of calcium, this mineral is very important for bone health. Kale will be especially beneficial for those people who are lactose intolerant, i.e. they do not consume dairy products. Kale helps in the absorption of calcium which increases bone density.
