Indian Navy has released a notification for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers Entry. The application process for these posts started on October 7, 2023, and candidates can apply till October 29, 2023.
Candidates can register on the official website joinIndianavy.gov.in. Applicants are advised to visit the official website for more details. The thing to note is that there is no application fee for these posts and the registration process is completely free.
Vacancy Details:
A total of 224 posts are available for Executive Education and Technical branches. These posts are distributed as follows:
General Service (GS): 40 posts are open for both male and female candidates.
Air Traffic Control (ATC): 8 vacancies.
Naval Air Officer (NAOO): 1 8 posts.
Pilot: 20 posts.
Logistics: 20 posts.
Naval Education Branch: 26 posts.
Indian Navy Technical Branch: A total of 100 posts are available for both men and women.
Eligibility and Age Limit:
To apply for these posts, candidates must have a B.Tech degree in relevant trade with a minimum of 60% marks. They should also have knowledge of the related trade. Additionally, candidates with MCA, B.Com, B.Sc, and MCA qualifications are eligible. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in English in classes 10 and 12. Regarding the age limit, candidates should be born after 2 July 1999 and before 1 January 2005. For ATC candidates, birth after 1st July 2003 is required.
