Highlights of RathYatra

Yes, Hera Panchami is on 5th July this year. Evening darshan can be done on 8th July. It is said that on this day the darshan of Lord Jagannath gives merit. It is said that Lord Jagannath resides in Gundicha temple for 9 days with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra ji and then returns home. Let us tell you that Gundicha is his aunt.

Highlights of July 10

It is believed that after returning to the Jagannath temple, Lord Jagannath takes a royal form along with his siblings. After this, a special type of drink is offered on the divine chariots on 11th July. This is followed by a grand ritual on 12th July in which almost all the devotees participate.
