Meta-owned social media platform Instagram is working on another new feature. After the introduction of this new feature, reels of up to 10 minutes can be posted on Instagram. Currently, the size of the Instagram reel is 1 minute. Meta says that the new update will greatly benefit those who create videos related to education, makeup recipes, etc.

Well-known reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi has given information about this new feature of Instagram on X. Apart from this, the English tech site TechCrunch has also confirmed this. The 10-minute reels are currently being tested on the beta version. After the release of the new feature, Instagram Reels will compete with TikTok and YouTube. TikTok launched the same feature in February last year.
Let us tell you that a few days ago while giving information about the new feature, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said that now they are looking for a way to tag a group of people together in a single mention in a story. Anyone in the group will be able to use that group mention and tag in stories from their profile in the future.
