These 5 diseases can occur due to less sleep
- You can become a victim of obesity due to less sleep. When you get less sleep, cortisol, ghrelin and leptin levels increase and this makes you feel hungrier. Due to this, you start eating more fast food etc., which is responsible for weight gain.
- You may feel weak and tired. Your energy may decline every day. This may cause dizziness, headache etc. It also affects your work or domestic life and it becomes difficult to spend the day.
- You may become irritable due to less sleep. Anger, sadness and depression begin to occur. This means that your mental health can completely deteriorate. Also, the ability to remember is affected.
- When you get proper sleep, your body repairs itself, which helps protect you from disease and inflammation. Whereas insomnia can affect this process. Lack of sleep can also reduce antibodies that help your body fight infection. Due to not getting good sleep, your immunity can deteriorate and you may fall ill again and again.
