Therefore, to manage blood sugar, along with medicines, changes in diet should also be made. While eating too many sweets can increase the sugar level, including some things in the diet reduces it. To reduce blood sugar, include these things in your diet
- To reduce blood sugar levels, you should include bitter gourd juice in your diet. If you drink bitter gourd juice in the morning, it reduces the sugar level and keeps the cravings under control.
- Apple cider vinegar is also considered good for controlling blood sugar. You can mix 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar in about 1 glass of water before eating. It contains acidic acid, which manages blood sugar.
- Drink chia seeds detox water on an empty stomach. It contains soluble fibre and omega-3 fatty acids, which prevent blood sugar from spiking and also keep the stomach full.
- If you start the day with fenugreek water, it also manages the blood sugar level. It improves insulin sensitivity.
- Drink cinnamon water after eating. It also regulates blood sugar levels.
How to make chia seeds detox water?
Ingredients required
- Chia seeds- 1 tsp
- Dry ginger powder- 1 pinch
- Black pepper powder-1 pinch
- Lemon juice – a few drops
- Rock salt-1 pinch
Method to prepare
- Soak 1 tsp chia seeds in 1 glass of water for about 2 hours.
- Now add dry ginger powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice and rock salt.
- Mix everything.
- A healthy drink that controls blood sugar is ready.
