Therefore the drugs used should have drying properties. Apart from following a good diet and lifestyle, local treatment should also be done.

Homemade vaginal wash

Here is the best wash of Triphala powder to maintain the pH. According to research, Triphala has antimicrobial activity against Candida albicans. Triphala is dry due to its anti-microbial activity. Prevents dryness discharge.

Buttermilk also has dry properties. Together these two make the best wash that prevents discharge.

Vaginal wash method

  • Boil 2 teaspoons of Triphala powder in 2 litres of water.
  • Then boil it again for 5 minutes.
  • Let it cool down and then filter it.
  • Add buttermilk to it. (half a decoction).

Try this natural remedy without disturbing the vaginal pH.

According to Ayurveda, infection occurs due to a mixed imbalance of pitta and Kapha. To cure it, first of all, the right diet has to be followed so that there is no increase in Pitta and Kapha. Avoid eating sugar, yoghurt and all fermented foods, breads and any other yeast-containing items.
