1. Turmeric Milk
Add two spoons of turmeric powder to a glass of hot milk and drink it. This provides relief from a blocked nose and sore throat. Water stops flowing from the nose.

2. Consumption of basil
Tulsi gives results like nectar in cold. In case of cough and cold, grind 8 to 10 leaves and add them to water and make a decoction. Drink this decoction. In case of cold in small children, make them lick 6-7 drops of ginger and basil juice mixed with honey. It is helpful in both clearing a blocked nose and stopping a runny nose.

3. Fenugreek and flaxseed
Take 4-5 grams of fenugreek and flax seeds and boil them in a glass of water. When it boils well, put 4 drops each in both nostrils. This provides relief from cold.

4. Turmeric and Oregano
Boil 10 grams of turmeric and 10 grams of carom seeds in a cup of water. When the water is reduced to half, add a little jaggery to it and drink. This provides instant relief from cold and reduces runny nose.

5. Black Pepper
Licking black pepper powder with honey provides relief from cold and reduces runny nose. Also, mix half a teaspoon of black pepper powder and a teaspoon of sugar candy and drink it with a glass of warm milk twice a day.

6. Mustard Oil
Before sleeping, put 2-2 drops of almond or mustard oil in both nostrils. This does not cause any kind of nose disease.

7. Ginger
For cough with phlegm, boil ginger in milk and drink it. Licking ginger juice mixed with honey also provides relief from cold. Grind 1-2 small pieces of ginger, 2 black peppers, 4 cloves and 5-7 fresh basil leaves and boil them in a glass of water. When it boils and reduces to half a glass, then add one spoon of honey in it and drink it. Fry small pieces of ginger in desi ghee, grind it and eat it 3-4 times a day. This provides relief from the problem of a runny nose.

8. Garlic
A chemical called allicin found in garlic is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal. It removes cold and flu infections. For this, fry 6-8 garlic cloves in ghee and eat them.

9. Cow Ghee
Melt pure cow's ghee and put two drops in the nose in the morning. Do this regularly for three months. This cures even the oldest cold.

10. Raisins
For cold, put 8 to 10 raisins in water and boil. When half of the water remains, take out the raisins and eat them and drink the water. This provides relief from the problem of runny nose.
