The more you are exposed to winter smog, the more adverse effect it will have on your lungs. Even if you are going out, you must use a mask. This protects you from direct exposure to winter smog.

Avoid smoking

Smoking is not considered good for health at all. In particular, it does a lot of damage to your lungs. Winter smog takes a toll on your lungs. In such a situation, if you smoke, then it has a double effect on your lungs and in such a situation the person has many health problems. Therefore, if you want to keep your lungs healthy, then you should avoid smoking completely.

Take care of your diet

To keep the lungs healthy, you must take care of your diet. You can reverse the ill effects of winter smog through your diet. That's why you should include anti-oxidant-rich foods in your diet. Consuming green tea, berries, leafy green vegetables and nuts etc. will help in cleaning the lungs. Apart from this, you must also include vitamin C, omega fatty acids, and magnesium-rich foods in your diet.

Protect yourself

When you are troubled due to winter smog, try to protect yourself whenever you are going out. For example, if you are travelling by car, keep the windshield closed. By doing this, you can protect yourself from winter smog to a great extent.
