When the monsoon season arrives, everything needs extra care, even if it is your hair. When you are out during the monsoon days, your hair is also affected due to rainwater. In such a situation, there is a way to take extra care of the hair by making a mask at home.
These homemade masks not only give extra strength to your hair but also provide nourishment to the hair, making it silky. However, while making a hair pack for hair in monsoon, you must pay special attention to the ingredients. Since the problem of oily and sticky hair persists in this season.
In such a situation, if you do not choose the right ingredients, then it increases the stickiness of the hair manifold. So let's know about some such ingredients, which you should avoid in your monsoon hair pack-
Avoid egg yolk
As such, the egg is very good for hair. It not only makes the hair silky but also strengthens them. However, it is not considered good to use egg yolk in monsoon hair packs. Actually, due to humidity, applying egg yolk can make the hair look even more oily and greasy.
Avoid curd in excess
As such, using curd can be very good for hair. But it should not be used in excessive quantities during the monsoon season. When you use yoghurt in excess, it increases the chances of fungal infection in the scalp due to excessive moisture.
Avoid shea butter and cocoa butter
When the hair is very dry, then it is considered very good to use shea butter and cocoa butter. But it is better to avoid this type of butter during the monsoon season. This butter can make your hair even more oily and sticky during monsoon.
Say no to coconut oil
Although coconut oil only benefits hair, it is advised to avoid using it during monsoon. It is oil-heavy, which can make your hair even stickier. Hence, use coconut oil sparingly during this season. It would be better if you opt for jojoba or almond oil instead of coconut oil.
Use them
Since you cannot make every ingredient a part of your hair care routine in monsoon, the question arises of which ingredients to choose while making a hair pack. You can use ingredients like lemon juice, amla, rose water, neem, fenugreek seeds, hibiscus flowers and green tea in monsoon. This will also help in removing the hair problems that occur in monsoon.
