For the upliftment of the farmers in the country, the central and state governments are running many excellent schemes. In today's time, many types of economic problems bother the farmers while doing farming. It is often seen that due to the lack of proper irrigation of the fields, the crops are not prepared properly. In such a situation, the farmers have to face a big economic loss. In such a situation, a tube well is seen as the best option to deal with this problem. At present, farmers across the country are resorting to tube wells on a large scale to irrigate their fields. In this episode, today we are going to tell you about a wonderful scheme of the Bihar government, under which the government has decided to provide 4500 tube wells to the farmers.
Under the scheme, the government is motivating the farmers to adopt drip irrigation, mini and micro-sprinklers, and portable sprinkler irrigation techniques. To adopt this type of irrigation technology, farmers are being given a subsidy of 90 percent through top-up amounts.
Under the Saat Nishchay-2 scheme, the Bihar government has arranged collective tubewells at 80 percent subsidy for water sources for large and marginal farmers to cultivate at least two and a half hectares by a group of a minimum of five farmers adopting drip irrigation techniques.
In such a situation, the farmers will have to pay only 20 percent of the amount themselves. For boring under the scheme, the government itself will pay 80 percent of the amount to needy farmers.
Farmers will get this benefit till March 24, 2024. To take advantage of the scheme, you can apply on the official website of the Bihar Horticulture Department, horticulture.bihar.gov.in.
