The company claims that the flaw has now been fixed and Android users should download the update immediately. The company has also said that this flaw is affecting many Android versions, which include Android 11, 12, 12L, 13, and 14.
Therefore, Google says that all Android users should update their devices as soon as possible. So that hackers cannot peek into your phone.
It is also important to note that it may take some time before the patch is released to other manufacturers except Google Pixel devices. The update is being delayed so that additional testing of the security patch can be done to ensure that there are no issues with different hardware configurations. Pixel devices are so-called because they receive monthly security updates immediately after release.
