Google is going to give a new gift to merchants in India through its Google Pay platform. Google is about to launch SoundPod for Indian businessmen. SoundPod is an audio device that will alert merchants about payment receipts through voice. This service is exactly like what Paytm and PhonePe have provided to their respective merchants.

Google Pay launches SoundPod

Like Paytm and PhonePe Soundbox service, now Google will also provide a Soundbox to the merchants using Google Pay which will help in tracking the payments made through their QR code.

Google had introduced Google Pay's SoundPod service for limited users some time ago, but now Google has decided to roll out this service for all users. Google Pay issued a press note saying, "They have received positive responses from their merchants, so now they have decided to launch this service on a larger scale, i.e. for common users."

Let us tell you that Paytm was the first to start providing the facility of Soundbox for merchants in India in 2019. After that, PhonePe also started the service Soundbox, and now Google Pay has also started this service. Let us tell you what users have to do to use Google Pay's SoundPod.

Important things about Google Play SoundPod

Indian merchants will get both daily and annual service of Google Pay SoundPod. Merchants can use SoundPod by paying a one-time fee of Rs 499 or Rs 5 per day for the daily plan. At the same time, for the annual plan, users will have to pay a one-time fee of Rs 1499, in which users will have a budget of Rs 500.

Apart from this, cashback will also be given to those merchants who receive 400 payments through the QR codes of Google Pay. To use Google Pay's SoundPod service, merchants will have to download the Google Pay Business App. To start the subscription, you have to choose a plan. After that, you will have to turn on the option of Daily Settlement, select the payment profile and then Google Pay SoundPod will be ready to use.
