Google has introduced its most powerful Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. Google has named it Gemini, although the technical name is Gemini 1.0 because this is the first version of the first Gemini. Google has said about Gemini that this is the beginning of a new era. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has given this information through a post on X. Its direct competition is with OpenAI's latest AI tool GPT-4.
Google's Gemini is a combo version of multimodal AI and basic AI. It is claimed by Gemini that it has expertise in programming. It is twice as fast as its competitor models and its performance is 85% better than the AI models available in the market.
Three models of Gemini introduced
Google has introduced three versions of its new iPhone model Gemini, Ultra, Pro, and Nano which are for three different uses. Gemini is not a single language model but Gemini Nano, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Ultra have their own requirements.
Among these, Gemini Ultra is the largest and most powerful tool which is specially designed for heavy tasks. It will be used in places like data centers, while Gemini Pro is not equal to Ultra but it can be used in small data centers.
The smallest model among these is Gemini Nano which has been designed keeping Android devices in mind. It can also be used offline. Many tasks can be done using it in mobile devices. Gemini Nano support will be first released for Google Pixel 8 Pro. This tool will also automatically reply to WhatsApp messages.
