Google has released the biggest update ever for its artificial intelligence tool Bard. Now users can interact with this AI chatbot in 40 languages including Hindi. Also, the company has launched Google Bard in the European Union (EU) after an initial delay due to data privacy concerns.
Will be able to talk in these languages
Users can now interact with the AI chatbot Google Bard in 40 new languages, including nine Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, and Urdu. Initially, this AI tool was made available only in English. The company has also introduced several new features in Bard.
Users will also be able to share Bard chat
The Bard has also been updated with several new features. Users will now also be able to share board chats with other users. Users can also create FAQ-like chats with Bard. Among the new features, it also has the facility to export Python code to Google Colab and Replit for coders.
Bard launched in European Union as well
Bard was initially opened to early access in English in the US and UK in March, with the first waiting list ending in May for a global rollout to approximately 180 countries and additional support for Japanese and Korean. So far Bard was not launched in the European Union, but now the company has introduced the AI tool to countries like Brazil and across Europe.
What is Bard?
Bard is an artificial intelligence-based chatbot service from Google, built using LaMDA technology. It was introduced in February this year. This was called by the company CEO Pichai an "Experimental Conversational AI Service". Bard is based on LaMDA and Google's own Conversational AI chatbot.
