In Delhi bullion market on Thursday, gold fell by Rs 300 to Rs 63,200 per 10 grams. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 63,500 per 10 grams.

However, during this period, silver rose by Rs 200 to Rs 63,500 per kg. Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst at HDFC Securities, said that the spot price of gold (24 carat) in Delhi bullion market fell by Rs 300 to Rs 63200 per 10 grams.

In the global market, gold and silver prices remained almost unchanged at $ 2,040 an ounce and silver at $ 24.96 an ounce, respectively. Gandhi said gold on Comex fell below its six-month high due to profit-booking by traders after the US macroeconomic data improved and the dollar recovered from multi-month lows.
