You should know that till now gas cylinder was given under Ujjwala Yojana for Rs 450. However, now those people in Rajasthan who have ration cards will also be able to take advantage of this scheme.
To take advantage of this facility, ration card holders have to link their LPG ID with a ration card. Only after linking their LPG ID with a ration card, they will be able to take advantage of this facility.
In Rajasthan, more than one crore families are taking advantage of ration facilities at low prices under the National Food Security Act. In this, about 37 lakh families are getting the benefit of gas cylinders for Rs 450 under Ujjwala Yojana. At the same time, under this scheme of the Rajasthan government, now about 68 lakh families in the state will be given gas cylinders on ration cards at the price of Rs 450.
