Ingredients for Garam Masala
½ cup cumin
half cardamom
1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 coriander seed
3-4 dry red chilies
three tablespoons aniseed
two tablespoons cloves
10 cinnamon sticks
4-5 bay leaves
2 teaspoons shah jeera
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Half a teaspoon of ginger powder.
Garam Masala Recipe
Step 1 - In a nonstick pan, dry roast coriander seeds on low flame.
Step 2- When fragrant, fry cumin seeds, shah jeera, black pepper, and dry red chili until crisp.
Step 3- Now take it out of the pan and roast all the spices except ginger powder on medium heat in the pan.
Step 4- Keep in mind that the spices do not burn, when the aroma starts coming from them, take them out and put them in the mixer jar.
Step 5- Grind all the whole spices in a mixer to make a thick paste.
Step 6- Mix the ginger powder in this mixture and keep it in an airtight container.
