1-liter sugarcane juice
100 grams of basmati rice
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp dry fruits (chopped)
How to make Sugarcane Kheer
To make sugarcane kheer, first of all, put rice in a vessel and wash it thoroughly with water.
Now put sugarcane juice in a pan and heat it on the gas.
When sugarcane juice boils, add soaked rice to it and cook it on low flame.
When the rice is lightly cooked, add cardamom powder to it.
Cook the rice on low flame till the rice is cooked well.
When the rice is cooked, add chopped dry fruits to it.
After some time, take the kheer off the gas and leave it to cool.
After cooling down, offer sugarcane kheer as prasad to Chhathi Maiya on the day of Kharna.
