Ingredients to make Chocolate Modak

Milk chocolate – 200 grams

Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon

Ingredients for stuffing

Khoya (mawa) – 100 grams

Sugar powder – 2 tablespoons

Coconut powder – 2 tablespoons

Cashews, almonds, pistachios (finely chopped)

Cardamom powder

Ghee

Method

To make chocolate modak, first of all, you have to prepare its stuffing. To prepare the stuffing, roast mawa in a pan on low flame. Fry it till it becomes light pink and starts releasing ghee. When mawa starts releasing ghee, add sugar powder, coconut powder, cashews, almonds, pistachios, and cardamom powder to it. Mix it well and then remove from the flame and let it cool.

While it is cooling, cut the milk chocolate into small pieces and melt it in the microwave. Add cocoa powder to this melted chocolate so that a uniform mixture is formed. Now to start the process of making modaks, first grease the modak mold with light ghee.

Now fill the prepared stuffing inside this mold. After filling the stuffing well, take it out. Prepare models in the same way. After all the modaks are ready, pour melted chocolate over them. Keep it in the fridge again for 10-15 minutes so that it sets completely. Your stuffed chocolate models are ready. After offering it as bhog, you can also distribute it as prasad.
