Chole Bhature is a favorite of North India and a unique dish loved by many. It takes some effort to make but its taste is so unique that the foodies do not get tired of praising it.

You can make it for an event like lunch dinner or a kitty party birthday party. That's why today we have brought you the recipe of Chole Bhature, let's know how to make it.
Ingredients of Chole Bhature

2 cups overnight soaked chickpeas
2 chopped onions
1/4 cup tomato puree
1 tsp coriander powder
5 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 1/2 tsp chana masala powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp ginger
3 tbsp onion paste
salt as required
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chili powder

For the dough

1 cup flour
3 tbsp curd (curd)
Refined oil as required

Salt as required
1/4 tbsp wheat flour

To decorate
2 tbsp chopped coriander

How to make Chole Bhature

Soaked chickpeas
Pressure cook the chickpeas

To make chole, soak the chickpeas in water overnight or for 6-8 hours. Then, put a pressure cooker on high flame and add soaked chickpeas, salt to taste, and 1 tea bag or you can also add 2-3 tea leaves and wrap it in a cloth. Cook the chickpeas for 15-20 minutes.

Fry onions

Meanwhile, place a pan on medium heat and heat some oil in it. Add cumin and chopped onion to the pan. Fry the onion till golden brown, then add minced garlic, ginger, and onion paste. Fry the ingredients for a few seconds till the raw smell of garlic goes away and then add tomato puree.

Add spices and cook the chickpeas

After the oil separates, add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and chana masala to it. Cook the tomato-onion mixture for another two minutes, and then add the cooked chickpeas along with a little water. Stir well to mix the spices with the chickpeas or chickpeas. Check the salt and let it cook for a few minutes. You can garnish with chopped onions and coriander leaves.

Prepare the dough
Now to make bhature, mix all-purpose flour or maida and wheat flour or flour on a dough plate. Then add salt and oil to it. Mix well. Add curd to the flour mixture and knead the dough well. You can knead the dough by adding a little water. When done, cover the dough with a kitchen towel.

Now keep a pan on high flame and in the meantime take an equal quantity of flour and roll out big size poori (bhatura). When the oil is hot enough, carefully drop these bhaturas into the oil and deep fry them. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Then take a plate and serve the Chola Bhature hot!
