Doing makeup in the summer season is a big problem. If the makeup is for a wedding, then more attention is needed. Doesn't your makeup come off due to excessive heat and sweat? Somewhere due to bad makeup, your wedding look does not get spoiled and how to make makeup last for a long time? Many such questions come again and again to the mind of the bride. When it comes to a day wedding in the summer season, then it becomes a bit difficult to do makeup because excessive sweating during the day can also remove the makeup of the face.
The secretion of sweat and oil also increases in summer. These elements get deposited on the skin, making it look oily. Sweat attracts more dirt to itself. Due to this the skin loses its lustre and starts looking lifeless. If your wedding is during the daytime of summer then you should follow some special makeup tips by beauty expert Shahnaz Hussain. Let's know about the makeup tips for a summer wedding.
Water-based makeup
Shahnaz Hussain says that water-based and powder makeup items are better during the summer. Use water-based and waterproof makeup items this season, especially for day weddings. Powder makeup is also more suitable than creamy makeup. If your wedding is on the day then the makeup should be light and meticulous. This is because daylight is harsh and also shows makeup imperfections.
Use rose water
For daytime makeup, mix an equal amount of astringent lotion in rose water and keep it in the fridge. After cleansing, use a cold rose water lotion to tone the skin with a cotton swab. It not only makes you feel refreshed but also helps in unclogging the pores. Wrap an ice cube in a clean cloth and wipe the face with it for a few seconds. It helps in closing the pores. When you apply the powder, dab the powder all over the face and neck with a slightly damp sponge. This helps it to set and last longer. Instead of loose powder, compact powder lasts longer and gives a smoother appearance to the skin. Blot your makeup with a tissue.
Apply lipstick like this
Whenever you apply lipstick while doing makeup for the wedding day, then first apply foundation on the lips. By doing this the lipstick lasts longer. Use waterproof mascara and eyeliner for eye makeup. Such waterproof products will prevent eye makeup from peeling off quickly during hot and humid weather. You can also use a waterproof or water-resistant lip colour and lip liner. Always use matte lipstick this season and apply a little gloss to enhance the beauty of the lips. Use light pastel colours like mauve, brown or pink for lipstick, but make sure that it complements your skin tone.
Brown or grey eye shadow is perfect
Line your lids with brown or grey eye shadow. It gives a soft effect on the day wedding. Then apply kajal over the eyes, which helps to make the eyes darker and brighter, but avoids heavy makeup. If you have a pale complexion, avoid shades of orange and go for pink. Keep in mind that these colours should not be too intense. To add glamour and shimmer to daytime makeup, apply a lighter shade, such as mauve, or a light brown, over the entire area. Then use gold or silver eyeshadow on the upper part near the lids and highlight under the browbones as well.
Correct practice of makeup is essential
For good makeup, prepare for makeup at least three weeks in advance. Take a look at different makeups and get pre-bridal makeup from the ones that will suit you. Try to get a sheer, matte look for your foundation. Use concealer to hide dark circles. Usually, for nights, dark colours are needed, as bright colours make you look washed out and pale. For daytime makeup, try waterproof makeup, as well as powder shadows and blushers, as mentioned earlier.
Choose makeup according to skin tone
Makeup means choosing the right shades of colour cosmetics. Choose the right shade according to your skin tone and tone. Whether you have fair, wheat, dusky or dusky skin, choosing the right colour is very important. Do not apply it to the skin after mixing all the colours until you find the shade that is right for you. The natural tone of the skin is the most important thing when choosing a foundation. Ideally, it should enhance your natural complexion. Compact powder is lightweight and very useful for the skin. Rosewater acts as a skin tonic and helps to keep the skin cool and refreshed. Using a cotton swab, giving a cold compress with cold rose water makes the skin look glowing.
