If you want to make a cake at home that is too perfect, then rava cake is the best option to experiment with. So how can you make it at home, and know its recipe?

Material :
Semolina/Rava - 1 cup, Wheat flour - 1/4 cup, Sugar - 1/2 cup, Baking powder - 1 tsp, Baking soda - 1/2 tsp, Salt - 1/4 tsp, Cardamom powder - 1 tsp, Saffron - 1/2 tsp, Curd - 1 cup, Milk - 1/4 cup, Ghee - 1/4 cup
For glazing
Castor sugar - 2 tbsp, Lemon juice - 2 tbsp, Pistachios chopped - 1/4 cup

Method :
Add semolina and sugar to the mixer and grind them together to make a fine powder.

Take out this powder in a bowl, and mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt in it.

After this add curd to it and mix it well.

- Grease the baking tin well with oil. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

Mix milk, saffron, cardamom powder, and ghee in another mixing bowl. Beat it well and add it to the cake.

After this, put the semolina batter in the baking tin and bake for 40-45 minutes or until its upper surface starts to look golden. With the help of a knife, you can check whether the cake is baked or not.

Insert the knife inside the cake, if it comes out clean then the cake is baked, if it comes out wet then it needs to be baked a little more.

To prepare the glazing
Mix castor sugar and lemon juice and keep it aside.

When the cake is baked, let it cool down for 5-10 minutes.

For decoration
Pour this lemon glaze over the cake along with chopped pistachios.

After this, cut it into pieces and serve it.
