To make idli from poha, first, wash the poha well and soak it in water for about 10 minutes. After this, take it out of the water grind the poha, and make a thick paste. After preparing the poha paste, take it in a big vessel and mix semolina and curd in it. Mix this mixture well and prepare a thick batter. If it has become too thick, then mix some water in it.

Keep this batter covered for 15-20 minutes, so that the semolina swells well. After 20 minutes, add salt to the batter. Now prepare the idli steamer. Fill the steamer with water and put it on the gas, so that the water boils. Along with this, apply light oil to the idli mold.
When you prepare the idli steamer and the water starts boiling, then add Eno to the batter and mix it well immediately. After adding Eno, the batter will start swelling. Now pour the batter in each idli mold, but keep in mind not to fill the mold.
Now steam it on a medium flame for 10-15 minutes. Check by inserting a knife or toothpick in the middle of the idli. If it comes out clean then the idli is ready. When the idli is ready, take it out and serve with sambar.
