Navratri has started and people celebrate these days with great pomp. Some keep fast, some do dandiya dance, some do kirtan of Mata Rani, etc. These nine days have a different belief in Hindu customs. After this, when the nine-day Navratri ends, then Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day. For this, the Dussehra fair is held at various places and Ravana's effigy is also burnt here, but do you know what things we should keep in mind while visiting the Dussehra fair because one small mistake of ours can cause us trouble? So let's know what are these mistakes which should be avoided. You can know about this in the next slides...
If you are going to the Dussehra fair, keep these things in mind:-
Number 1
If you are going to the Dussehra fair, take special care of your pocket, because a small negligence or mistake of yours can get you pickpocketed. Only cash is used in the fair, so people carry cash with them. But you have to take care of your pocket, otherwise your pocket can be picked.
Number 2
If you are going to the fair, then apart from your pocket, you should also take care of your mobile. There is a lot of crowd at the fair and you do not know when someone will pickpocket you and your mobile can get stolen. So keep your mobile safe or if it is not needed, you can leave it at home.
Number 3
When Ravana burns at the Dussehra fair, people move forward, but you should avoid going to a crowded place. Stand at a safe place and watch Ravana burning. At the same time, it is usually seen that people chase away the burnt wood of Ravana after it is burnt, but you should not make such a mistake because during this time the crowd sometimes becomes uncontrollable.
Number 4
If you are going to the Dussehra fair, then know that there is a lot of crowd here. In such a situation, if your children are very young, then avoid taking them to the fair. At the same time, if you are taking children to see the fair, then hold their hand and if possible, keep a slip of paper with your name, home address, and mobile number written on it in their pocket. With this, if the child goes here and there, then the person who finds him will be able to call you.
