With the increase in heat, the demand for AC engineers also increases. Many times you call an engineer to do AC service, but he tells you that AC gas has leaked. In lieu of gas charging, the engineer charges you Rs 2,500 to 3,000. Today we are going to tell you about some such methods with the help of which you can know in advance whether AC gas has leaked or not-

Usually, when an engineer says that there is a gas leak in the AC, you can also check it yourself. It can also be called the home method. You should first check the cooling condenser. After running the AC, it is very important to check the cooling coil as well. If ice is not freezing in the cooling coil, then there is a high chance that the gas from your AC has not come out.

What should be the gas pressure-
There are two types of gas in AC - R32 and R410. Now R32 gas comes in most of the ACS. Because it is Ozone Friendly. If it leaks, there is no harm to the environment. This is the reason that now this gas comes in most of the ACS. Also, if ever the engineer says that there is a gas leak in your AC, then you can also get it checked through a gauge.

The gauge is fitted in the compressor wall and the gas pressure is checked from it. The gas pressure in Inverter AC is 150 normal. If the same pressure is coming in your inverter AC then there is no need for you to get the gas refilled. At the same time, if the gas pressure in normal AC is between 60-80, then it is fine. In such a situation, whenever the engineer asks for a gas refill, it is important to take care of it.
