Material
Potato - 500 grams
Sour curd – 125 grams
Rock salt – 2 tbsp


Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli - 1 tbsp
Refined oil – 2 cups
Water chestnut flour - 70 grams
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – 6-7
water as required

How to make-
1. To make this recipe, first keep a deep bottom pan on medium flame and add water to it. When the potatoes become soft, peel them and keep them aside.

2. Now place a pan on medium flame and heat oil in it. On the other side, add mashed potatoes, rock salt, water chestnut flour, and chili powder. Mix them well and prepare a thick solution.

3. When the oil becomes hot, reduce the flame to very low. Now prepare pakodas by putting soaked potatoes in the batter. When it turns golden, take it out and keep it aside.

4. Now heat a pan and add oil to it. When the oil is hot, add curry leaves, Kashmiri red chili and cumin seeds and fry. Add some pudding and sour curd to it and turn it in the pan.

5. Now add salt, mix and cook till it boils. Add water as required and mix. Lower the flame and when you feel that the curry has thickened, add the pakodas and cook for 3-4 minutes.

6. Your curry is ready. Take it out in a serving bowl and serve hot with water chestnut roti or puri.
