Ingredients for Potato-Paneer Masala
Paneer cubes - 2 cups
Potatoes cut - 2 cups
Tomato puree - 2 cups
Onion chopped - 1
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Cashew paste - 3-4 tbsp
Cream - 2 tbsp
Cheese grater - 2 tbsp
Green coriander chopped - 2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Cloves - 2-3
Cinnamon - 1-inch piece
Bay leaf - 1-2
Butter - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 2-3
Oil - 4-5 tsp
salt - as per taste
Potato Paneer Masala Recipe
To make Tasty Aloo-Paneer Masala, first of all, cut the paneer into squares and keep it in a utensil. In the same way, cut the potatoes and keep them in another utensil. After this, cut the onion and coriander leaves into fine pieces. Now take a pan, put oil in it, and heat it on medium flame. When the oil is hot, add chopped potatoes to it. Remember that they will be fried only till they turn golden. After this, take out the fried potatoes in a bowl. Similarly, fry paneer in oil till it becomes light golden.
Now take another pan, add 1 tbsp butter, and heat it. After melting the butter, add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaves to it. Now the wet smell should not start coming from the spices. After this, add finely chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste to the spices and fry. Fry the onion till it turns light pink. Then add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder as well.
After this, after frying all the spices for some time, add tomato puree to it and fry till the gravy leaves the oil. After this add cashew paste and fry for one more minute. Then add 1 cup of water and salt as per taste and mix well. Then add roasted potatoes and paneer to the gravy and mix it well with the gravy with the help of a spoon. Now after cooking the vegetable for 2 more minutes, add fresh cream and grated cheese to it and turn off the gas. In the last step of preparing the dish, garnish with green coriander leaves and serve the vegetable potato paneer masala.
