These days, Delhi NCR is facing the problem of smoke for which no one has a solution. This October, the highest number of cases of dengue have been found in the country's capital compared to the last five years, and to prevent it, fogging is being done in most areas, that is, smoke with medicine so that mosquitoes can be killed.

'Double attack' of dengue and pollution
However, dengue cases have still not stopped and people already suffering from pollution are having to endure the suffocating smoke. BJP has targeted CM Arvind Kejriwal for not being able to stop dengue in Delhi, but mosquitoes are flying above politics and dengue fever is not being controlled by any government.

Crowd increased in hospitals
Be it OPD in hospitals or patients admitted to the ward, dengue is affecting everywhere. As soon as the weather changes in Delhi NCR, fever has caught people and the number of dengue patients is the highest. Someone is arranging platelets i.e. blood for the patient admitted in the hospital, while someone is looking for goat milk.

This year's figures are worrying
This year, dengue cases in the country have crossed 1 lakh 10 thousand. More than 100 deaths have been recorded due to this disease. Whereas in 2022, 2 lakh 23 thousand cases were reported in the entire year. The breeding of mosquitoes has increased due to changing weather and this time the continuous rains across the country have made the work of mosquitoes easy and the work of doctors difficult.

What are the symptoms of dengue?
High fever, headache, red marks on the body, chills, muscle pain, vomiting, and pain behind the eyes are included in the symptoms of dengue. It is better to wait for three days for the test. Dengue can be confirmed by getting Elisa and NS1 Antigen blood tests done on the fourth or fifth day.

Dengue may become fatal!
If platelets are less than 20 thousand, the patient has bleeding from the mouth, nose, teeth, or stool and there is already some serious disease, there is a risk of dengue becoming fatal, although this happens only in less than 10 percent of the patients. 90 percent of patients recover by taking rest, eating liquids, eating fresh fruits, and taking fever medicine. Doctors have advised not to rely on goat milk and other home remedies.
