Even though we use steel utensils for daily use at home, we often serve recipes to guests in glass plates, bowls, and glasses. This is because crystal items are very attractive, but their maintenance is a little more difficult than metal utensils. Water or detergent stains often accumulate on it, which can spoil the beauty of the glass vessel. So let us know how you can clean crystal utensils easily.
Ways to clean glass utensils
1. Do not use hard or normal water to clean the glass, because it causes cloudiness. You can use vinegar for this. Dip the glass items in white vinegar solution and then wipe it with a clean cloth.
2. If you use normal water and dishwashing liquid to wash glasses, plates, and bowls, then do not let water stagnate on them after cleaning, because it causes stains to settle. For this, wipe them with a clean cotton cloth.
3. The use of baking powder can be very effective in removing stains from glass utensils. For this, first wet the areas where the stains are accumulating. After this, spread them with the help of a finger or soft brush.
4. You can also take the help of a toothbrush to make the glass utensils shine like new. For this, apply toothpaste on a brush and rub it gently on the inner and outer parts of the crystal. Then wash it with clean water and wipe it with a cotton cloth.
5. Many times we light a candle by sticking it on a glass or other vessel. Due to this, a layer of wax starts accumulating on the glass and then it becomes difficult to remove it. Never clean it by rubbing, instead, first keep the glass utensils in lukewarm water and then clean them with the help of a sponge.
