Due to new variants of Corona, health risks are being seen increasing globally. According to the report of the World Health Organization, at present three variants of Corona – Aeris (EG.5.1), Pirola (BA.2.86), and HK.3 are the most reported cases. All these are sub-variants of Omicron, whose infectivity rate is said to be higher. At present, most cases of Corona are being reported in UK-US and Singapore.

The situation of corona in India is quite controlled, although health experts advise all people to keep taking measures to prevent infection. Given the increasing risks of new variants, Moderna (MRNA.O) or Pfizer (PFE.N) and BioNTech (22UAY.DE) have developed single-shot vaccines, which are effective against the XBB.1.5 Omicron subvariants of the coronavirus. . America has started giving these vaccines in the country.

Updated vaccines are being given to people above 6 months of age
American health officials said preparations are being made to give this single-shot vaccine to all people aged 6 months and older so that the risk of infection caused by new variants of Corona can be reduced. Research conducted on the effectiveness of the newly updated vaccines has found that they help provide protection against the rapidly growing new variants of Omicron and protect people from the risk of serious disease due to it.
