By the way, eating fresh fruits and vegetables is the best option. However, this is not possible for everyone. Most people collect vegetables and fruits and store them in the fridge. Sometimes vegetables and fruits get spoiled even in the fridge. Fruits come to most of the homes during Navratri. If you want to keep these fruits, dry fruits, and nuts fresh, then here are some tricks you can adopt.

Bananas
People often make mistakes in storing bananas. Bananas should never be stored in the fridge. Bananas ripen more in the cold. If you do not want bananas to ripen quickly, do not keep them in the fridge. Apart from this, wrap the aluminum foil where the banana tip is, ie from where the bananas are connected. If aluminum foil is not available then you can also wrap polythene.

Coriander
One way to keep coriander fresh is to keep it cold in the water. There is no need to keep them in the fridge for this. Another way is to wash and dry the coriander. Cut it and keep it inside the tissue paper and keep it in the fridge.

Lemon
To keep lemons fresh for a long time, keeping them directly in the fridge will not work. Keep them in a zip lock pouch or polythene and keep them tightly knotted. If you are going to extract its juice, then first put it in lukewarm water.

Onion
Never keep potatoes, and onions together because the chemicals released from potatoes can spoil the onion.

Nuts
To keep nuts like walnuts, and cashews fresh and crunchy, store them in an airtight box in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh.
