Ingredients for making Gujarati Basundi-

Milk - 1 liter

Almond - 1 tbsp

Cashew - 1 tbsp

Pistachios - 1 tbsp

Sugar - 4 tbsp

Saffron - 1 pinch

Nutmeg - ½ tsp

Cardamom powder - ½ tsp

Chironji - 2 tbsp

Rose essence - ½ tsp

1. To make a Basundi sweet dish, first of all, add milk and saffron in a pan.

2. Now cook the milk on low flame till it reduces to half.

3. While boiling the milk, when a layer of cream starts appearing in it, add ground nutmeg, ground cardamom powder, chironji, and sugar to it.

4. Now cook it for another 5 minutes so that the sugar and all the other things get mixed well.

5. Now turn off the gas and put dry fruits on top of it.

6. Your Gujarati Basundi is ready. It is very tasty. You can eat it hot or cold as you like.

7. By eating this, you will not feel weak during fasting and it is also beneficial for health.
