To make Dal Dulho you need...
Cup tur dal
Half cup flour
Teaspoon of salt
A pinch of asafoetida
Teaspoon of salt
Turmeric
Ghee


6-7 cloves chopped garlic
1 chopped onion
Fenugreek seeds
Coriander leaves
Green chili
Lemon

Process


Keep the dal soaked. Now put turmeric, and salt in the cooker like normal lentils and apply 4 to 5 whistles. Meanwhile, add some salt to the flour and knead a tight dough. Put some ghee in it too. Keep the dough aside for 10-15 minutes. Give some shape to this dough. Give it a dumbbell shape or whatever shape you want to give. Now put these flour grooms in the dal and put the pot on the gas and let it cook on medium flame. Switch off the gas after 10 minutes. Now heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin, asafoetida, onion, garlic, and chopped green chilies to it. When the onion changes its color and the garlic is roasted, then add kasoori methi. In this tempering, put lentils along with the groom. Finally, add one more tempering of ghee to it. Heat ghee in a spoon. Add mustard seeds, whole red chilies, and a little asafoetida to it. Pour this tempering over the dal. Switch off the gas and serve with chopped coriander and lemon.
