Cooking is not a compulsion, but an art. It is said that if you want to win someone's heart, then you should feed him good food, because the way to the heart is through the stomach. This is the reason that in today's time not only girls but boys also cook food with great enthusiasm.
People who get bored while cooking, put spices and other things in it by guessing. But those who are learning to cook, keep making small mistakes.
The most important mistake among these mistakes is excess oil in the vegetable. Too much oil in the vegetable can spoil its taste. If this mistake often happens with you too, then we are going to tell you some such tricks, using which you can remove excess oil from cooked vegetables.
Take the help of a spoon
If the oil is floating on the vegetable, then with the help of a spoon or ladle, slowly remove the excess oil floating on the vegetable. If you want to remove oil with a spoon, do not mix it even by mistake.
Take help of kitchen tissue
You can absorb oil by using kitchen tissue. Press it lightly on the surface of the vegetable and remove it immediately. While using it, you have to keep in mind that remove the tissue immediately, otherwise the tissue will mix with the vegetable.
Use bread or roti
If excess oil is visible in the vegetable, put 1-2 bread slices in the vegetable. It will absorb the excess oil. Remove the bread later. Keep in mind not to press the bread too hard, otherwise it will melt and spoil the taste of the vegetable.
Boil or cook
To remove excess oil from the vegetable, cook the vegetable for a little more time so that the oil gets mixed well inside the vegetable and does not get extra. Sometimes cooking for a longer time also removes excess oil from the vegetable.
Add vegetables
If you want to reduce oil, then add more vegetables, potatoes, or ingredients like cheese to increase the quantity of the vegetable. This will reduce the proportion of oil.
Use curd or gram flour
Add some curd or gram flour to the vegetable and thicken the gravy. Curd absorbs oil. This will also reduce the excess oil in the vegetable. These measures will bring back the taste and balance of your vegetable.
