Aaliya Siddiqui, the wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is caught in legal trouble. The actor's wife has been accused of financial fraud. These allegations have been leveled against Alia by Manju Garhwal, the creative and co-producer of her production venture 'Holy Cow'. Manju alleges that Aaliya has refused to give him 31 lakhs. She had invested this money in the film. But, when Manju asked Alia for the money back, she did not respond to it.

Even after asking for his money back several times, Aaliya did not return her money to Manju, after which Manju filed a complaint against her. According to media reports, Manju has also accused Aaliya of torturing her mentally. Manju alleges that she asked Aaliya for her money many times, but even after that, she did not get her money back.

In a conversation with Times of India, Manju Garhwal said- 'Aaliya and I have been friends since 2005. She always wanted to become a producer. When things went well, she told me that I should look after the creative work and she would take care of the finances. I did the casting for the project, but the checks given to them bounced.

Aaliya borrows money from Manju Garhwal's father
Manju further tells that, at the behest of Aaliya, her father also invested money in this project. Manju says- 'Aaliya knew that my father was selling the house in Ujjain. She needed money, so he convinced my father and he took the money he got by selling the house, as a loan. He said that he will return the money in 1 month, but till now they have not returned the money. Meanwhile, there was a fight between him and Aaliya, then Aaliya refused to give him credit in 'Holy Cow'.

Complaint filed in FWICE also
According to Manju, he had a hard disk, which contained important data about Holy Cow. Due to this Aaliya gave him 22 lakhs after much debate and took the hard disk. But, after that, he did not return the rest of the money. Manju says that she is trying to get money from Alia, but she has not returned about 31 lakh rupees yet.
