Cleaning milk stains and removing odor from children's feeders can be a challenging task, but with the help of the right technique and things, you can do this work easily. This matter is related to the child's health, so there is no scope for negligence at all. Let's know how you can easily clean the feeder.
1. Dip in hot water
As soon as your baby finishes drinking milk, dip the feeder in hot water and then wash it. This helps to remove any leftover milk before it dries and forms stubborn stains. Clean the feeder completely. That is, do not leave the nipple, cap or any cracks where milk can accumulate.
2. Soak with soapy water
For this, mix hot water and soap in a vessel. Then dip the feeder and its parts in soapy water and keep it for at least 15-30 minutes. This helps to weaken the milk stains and makes the cleaning process easier. You can also mix baking soda and white vinegar in warm water for stubborn stains and odors.
3. Scrub with a brush
Use a bottle brush to clean the inside of the feeder. Try to get into every nook and corner so as not to miss any gaps. Use a small brush or nipple brush to thoroughly clean the inside of the nipples.
4. Place in boiling water
Boil all parts of the feeder in water for 5-10 minutes. This ensures that any bacteria or milk residue is eliminated.
5. Use a steam sterilizer
If you have a steam sterilizer, use it according to the manufacturer's instructions to completely disinfect the feeder.
6. Dry
Allow all parts of the feeder to air dry completely before reassembling them. Place them on a clean, dry towel or a drying rack in an airy area.
