Soak them overnight to make chole. Apart from this, you need white and black salt, chili, coriander powder, chole masala, ginger green chili paste, asafoetida, cumin, tomato puree, curd, ginger kasoori methi, a little sugar, bay leaves, cloves, big cardamom, small Cardamom, steeped black pepper. Instead of lemon, you can add amchur and a little sugar.Boil like this
Keep them soaked in water a night before the day you want to make chickpeas. Put a pinch of salt in it. Now boil the chole in a cooker. For boiling, you have to add salt, dry red chili, grated ginger and a dry sourdough or a piece of gooseberry to it. Let the chickpeas cook properly, let it come for 7 to 8 whistles. Let your guessing blow the whistle. When the chickpeas boil, open the cooker and let it cool down and mash them a little.

Now heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds to it. After this add standing spices like black pepper, bay leaves, big cardamom and cloves. Now add some ginger-green chili paste to it. After that add tomato puree. Add puree and stir by adding rest of the spices like turmeric, salt, chilli, coriander leaves, chole masala, kasoori methi. After 5 minutes, add 2 spoons of freshly whipped curd to it. When the oil separates, add the chickpeas and let it cook. Lastly, add black salt and a little sugar (pinch). And add crushed green cardamom and after 5 minutes turn off the gas. Garnish with coriander, squeeze 4 drops lemon.
