Where is Kuno National Park?
Kuno National Park is in the Morena and Sheopur districts of Madhya Pradesh. This park was given the status of a National Park in the year 2018. Whereas, Kuno National Park was established in the year 1981. In the year 2009, a proposal was presented by the Government of India for the rehabilitation of the Cheetah. In this, it was proposed to convert the Morena Wildlife Sanctuary into a National Park.

After this, on December 5, 2018, Wildlife Park was converted into Kuno National Park. Also, it was expanded. Wherein, its area was increased to 413 sq km. At the same time, in the year 2022, cheetahs ranging in age from 4 to 6 years were brought from Namibia to Kuno National Park. After this, the park was completely converted into cheetah rehabilitation. There is a plan to bring more cheetahs to Kuno National Park in the coming times.
