Chaitra Navratri 2023: Chaitra Navratri starts every year from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. These nine days of Navratri are considered very important in Hinduism. It has been told in the scriptures that by worshiping Navadurga and fasting during the Chaitra Navratri festival, all the sufferings of the devotees go away. According to the Hindu calendar, this year Chaitra Navratri will start on March 22 and will end on March 30.

According to religious beliefs, there is a law of special worship of nine forms of Maa Durga in Chaitra Navratri. Mata Shailputri is worshiped on the first day i.e. Pratipada Tithi with Kalash Sthapana. Please tell that in these nine days, all the nine forms of Maa Durga are offered different offerings. First day - Mata Shailputri
Mother Shailputri is worshiped on the day of Chaitra Pratipada. Her ride is a white cow and she is the daughter of Parvatraj Himalaya. Mother loves white color very much and by worshiping her, the seeker gets the blessings of health. On this day, cow's ghee is offered to Maa Shailputri.

Second day - Mata Brahmacharini
There is a ritual of worshiping Goddess Brahmacharini on the second day of Chaitra month. It is believed that worshiping Maa Brahmacharini blesses one with longevity and self-control. On this day, sugar and panchamrit are offered to the mother.

Third day - Maa Chandraghanta
Mother Chandraghanta is worshiped on the day of Chaitra Tritiya. Mother's ride is a lion and by worshiping her the devotees get freedom from worldly problems. On this day, to please Maa Chandraghanta, offer sweets made of milk or kheer, etc.

Fourth day - Mata Kushmanda
Maa Kushmanda is worshiped on the Chaturthi date of Chaitra Navratri. Mata Kushmanda rides a tiger and worshiping her increases intelligence and morale. On this day, offer the food of Malpua to mothers and do charity, etc.

Fifth day - Mother Skandamata
On the fifth day of Chaitra month, there is a ritual of worshiping Mother Skandamata. Mother Skandamata's ride is a lion and by worshiping her, the seeker gets the blessings of health, as well as all physical pains go away. Offer banana food to the mother on these days.

Sixth day - Mother Katyayani
Mother Katyayani is worshiped on the sixth day of Chaitra Navratri. Worshiping Mata Katyayani increases the power of attraction and removes negative energy from the family. Offer gourd, sweet betel leaf, and honey to the mother on the sixth day.

Seventh Day - Mother Kalaratri
On the seventh day of Chaitra month, Goddess Kalratri is worshiped according to the rules and regulations. It is believed that by worshiping Mata Kalratri one gets the blessings of victory over the enemies and gets rid of diseases and defects. Offer sweets made of jaggery to the mother on this day.

Eighth day - Mata Mahagauri
There is a ritual of worshiping Mother Mahagauri on the Ashtami date of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. It has been told in the scriptures that by worshiping Mata Mahagauri one gets freedom from all troubles and happiness and prosperity come in life. On this day, offer coconut food to Mata Mahagauri.

Ninth Day - Mata Siddhidatri
On the last day of the Chaitra Navratri festival i.e. Navami Tithi, there is a law to worship Mother Siddhidatri. Girl worship is also done on this day. It is believed that by offering kheer and halwa-puri to Mata Siddhidatri, all the wishes of the seeker are fulfilled.
