Chaitra Navratri has great importance in the Hindu religion. People wait for Chaitra Navratri throughout the year to worship the nine forms of Mata Rani. During the nine days of Navratri, people not only offer prayers to please Goddess Mata Rani, but many people also keep fast by eating fruits for nine days. Just as all the forms of Maa Durga are worshiped in different ways, in the same way the food offered to her is also of her choice.

Talking about the second form of Mata Rani, Maa Brahmacharini, offering milk, sugar and Panchamrit to her is considered very auspicious. In such a situation, if you want to make something special to offer to Mata Rani, then Makhana Kheer is a better option. You can offer Makhana Kheer to Mother Brahmacharini. It is fruitless, so you can consume it even during your fast.

Ingredients for making Makhana Kheer
-200 grams makhana
-2 liters milk
- Desi Ghee
-250 grams sugar
- Cardamom
-Almond
-Cashew

Method
You can also consume Makhana Kheer after applying it to Mata Rani. To make this, first put desi ghee in a pan and heat it.
After this, cut almonds and cashews into small pieces put them in the pan, and fry till they turn golden. When it is roasted, take it out and keep it aside, and then fry the makhana in the same pan by adding ghee.
If you want, put cashews and almonds in a mixer and grind them lightly once. Take care that it does not become powder. After this let the milk heat. After boiling the milk, light the gas add sugar and cardamom powder to it, and mix.
Once the sugar dissolves, add roasted makhana along with cashew nuts and almonds. Now when the makhana becomes soft, turn off the gas. Now add some whole dry fruits on top of this kheer, let it cool, and then enjoy it.
