China has launched an electric car that can bring a new storm in the EV market.

Meanwhile, the Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited or CATL, which makes batteries for electric vehicles, has introduced a high-range electric car battery.
Regarding this new EV car, the company claims that after a full charge, the car can be driven for more than 1,000Km (620 miles). The company has named this next-generation battery Qilin. Its production will start next year. Regarding this EV, CATL said that the cells of this battery charge faster than the existing battery. It is safer and more durable too.
CATL shares in Schengen went up 5.9% after the battery issue came to the fore. Which is also its highest level since February 9. The Fujian-based CATL said the Qilin battery, named after a mythical Chinese creature, has an energy density of up to 255 watt-hours per kilogram.
The company said that in this CTP 3.0 battery, the internal crossbeam, liquid-cooling plate, and thermal pad have been integrated into a multifunctional elastic interlayer. It also has built-in micron bridges inside the interlayer that can flexibly accommodate changes inside the cell.
