Budget 2024 Income Tax Slab - No change in Income Tax Slab, know what will be the tax slab in the new tax system

Income Tax Slab- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the interim budget. While presenting the budget, Nirmala Sitharaman said a big thing about tax slabs. He said that there has been no change in the income tax slab rates for the financial year 2024-25. It will remain the same as before.

Tax slabs in the new tax system
No tax on income up to Rs 3 lakh
5 percent tax on income up to Rs 3-6 lakh (tax exemption under section 87A)

10 percent tax on income of Rs 6-9 lakh
15 percent tax on income up to Rs 9-12 lakh
20 percent tax on income of Rs 12-15 lakh
30 percent tax on income above Rs 15 lakh
